I bought some okra the other day...
let's see what can I do with all of these..
The following are dishes I created...
Blanched Okra with Non-Cilantro Mayonnaise Dip
Just boil water in a pot, once boiling place the okra and switch off the heat. Soak the okra in cold water. Serve with any dip of your choice. I used left-over mayonnaise dip.
Blanched Okra with Light Soy sauce and Wasabi Dip
Same procedure above, except for the dip. This is one of my favorite, I always buy this in Sushi Express.
Fried Okra
I'm not fun of this, just tried it! Prepare 1 egg, salt and pepper, and I used cheese powder as coating. In a small bowl, beat egg, add salt and pepper. Soak okra in egg mixture, roll in cheese powder. Deep fried until coating is brown. Serve hot.
Okra and Eggplant
some okra, sliced
1 eggplant, sliced
1 red pepper ( I used chili powder)
1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
spice oil (if any) and wine
oil for frying
In a pan, heat oil and fry garlic, okra, and eggplant until cook. Add little water and cook until soft. Season with oyster, sugar, dash of spice , and wine (if using).

I love okra! Here's another dish to try! I like to cut up okra and saute it with shrimp, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Yum!
True confession---I have never eaten okra. Your photos make it look delicious. I think it is time to experiment with new foods.
Oops, I also want to thank you for linking this up to My Meatless Mondays. I appreciate the support and the fine recipe.
I haven't tried okra either! You make it look so delicious! Especially the crunchy breaded version. Thanks for sending it to the Showdown!
Thanks for taking the time to discuss that, I feel strongly about this and so really like getting to know more on this kind of field. Do you mind updating your blog post with additional insight? It should be really useful for all of us. cooking team building singapore
