Vanilla Butter Cookies

I baked this a month ago and brought to our picnic potluck but I forgot to post it! As I've mentioned, am not good in baking but once in a while I'm trying to experiment. After all, practice good practice makes perfect!

200g sifted cake flour
150g unsalted butter
1 egg
30g sugar
50g icing sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 185 C. Beat butter (room temperature) and sugar until fluffy. Add icing sugar and mix until pale and smooth. Gradually, add egg and vanilla extract and slightly mix. Add sifted flour and continuously fold the batter. Place the mixture into a piping bag. Place a small amount in a baking tray. Bake for about 15-18 minutes.

The way this recipe reads, «Louis» thinks these would be very tender cookies with a subtle taste.

So soft and buttery! A great cookie to have with a cup of tea!
