Squash Bite Fries

A very simple and delicious Squash Fries

Just cut the squash into bite size, heat the oil (I used olive oil),
 fry the squash until cook. Season with salt and pepper.

Another way is to coat the squash with cornstarch before frying.

My first try, next time I need to cut a little bit smaller.

This sounds interesting as we normally cook squash as part of stir-fry or pinakbet dishes.

Thanks for linking up this week, Lani!

I am always looking for new ways to cook squash, and this one looks easy and great! I am happy with anything that is fried in olive oil...in fact, it is the only oil I use.

I may get adventuresome and try this method of cooking squash, since I have one more that's begging to be eaten!

SPLASH OF YELLOW

Splash of yellow,
Dash of gold,
Make me mellow,
Never old;
Keep my humor
In fine trim,
Always laughing,
Never grim.
