In winter time, pre-cooked ingredients for hot pot are availble everywhere. All I have to do is add any vegetables I want or fresh meat to make the soup tastier. Just boil water, season with whatever seasoning/flavoring available. Put all the ingredients in a boiling water. Now, ready to warm the body in this cold winter days. :)

That looks so delicious. I never think of adding meat or fish to my soups but why not? Diane
Interesting soup ingredients.

Now I am hungry!! That looks really good!
Looks amazing! What a beautiful photo.
I was at a hot pot soup party of a Chinese friend, and at a restaurant in Beijing. I LOVE it!!
My question is what kind of spices do I need to use for a hot pot soup? (I am Dutch, so in Dutch cooking, only bouillon goes into the water)
