2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2 tablespoon honey
1 cup buttermilk (self-made)
Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, egg, and honey. Add to the flour mixture, add the blueberry and mix until all the ingredients are incorporated. Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured counter, and shape the dough into a semi cirlce. Put the loaf onto the prepared baking sheet and cut the top of the loaf to make parallel lines.
Bake in the preheated about175 ̊C(350 ̊F) for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and the loaf sounds hallow when topped on the bottom with your knuckles. Let it cool, before slicing.

This looks like a good country bread. I think I have everything but the blueberries, but I think cranberries will do. Thanks! Joni

This looks like a delicious loaf of bread and the blueberries would add such a nice touch of sweetness in every bite. Thanks so much for linking this up to Sweets for a Saturday. I hope you'll be able to join in again.
