My First Maki "Sushi Roll"

Living in the Philippines for three months, I'm missing so much Japanese Food. Although we can find some of the ingredients, but not much as in Taipei. The rice, sweet mayonaise, and nori I used here were still bought in Sushi Bar in Taipei. Let me called this ShiNoy (Sushi with the taste of Pinoy "Filipino").

For the filling I made tuna with sweet mayonaise, just mix all the ingredients:
1 can of tuna in water (drained)
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 stem celery, finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste.

I also made scramled egg, sliced cucumber and carrots, and dried vegetarian shredded meat.
For rolling, I followed the direction from Nori wrapper, put any filling combination I want, then cut into bite size.

For the rice, I cooked it in the rice cooker then added a tablespoon of Japanese Vinegar.

Good enough for Pinoy (Filipino) Taste:) Enyoy!
