Lemon Scallops and Shrimps
A mix of sour, salty, sweet, and spicy! It's so good especially when eating with steam rice. I have no exact recipe for this, just prepare the following.
200g shrimp, shelled
200g scallops
1/2 cup chili sweet sauce
1 small lemon juice and zest
3 lime leaves (I used the dry one)
1 tablespoon chili sauce
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/4 cup coconut milk
olive oil
cilantro (optional)
Marinate the shrimps and scallops with sweet chili sauce, lemon juice and zest, lime leaves, chili sauce, garlic, salt, and brown sugar for at least 30 minutes. Heat pan, add shrimp and saute for a minute. Set aside. In the same pan, add the marinade mixture and coconut milk. Let it boil, add the shrimp and scallops. Cook until the sauce thicken. Sprinkle with cilantro (optional)
"Scallops are expensive,
so they should be treated with some class.
But then, I suppose that every creature
that gives his life for our table should be treated with class."

Shrimp with Hot and Sweet Chili Sauce
Sending this simple dish from my phone! My favorite way of cooking shrimp, a usual no exact recipe. Just chop some garlic ang ginger. Saute garlic and ginger, add lemon grass (I used lemon leaf) , salt, and pepper until the shrimps turn pink. Add spicy chili sauce or powder, and sweet chili sauce. Let it boil or let the sauce thicken. Serve.
Many thanks for dropping by when I'm not around. My hubby left today, and I'm all alone once again, meaning back to reality! Right now, we're praying hard for a miracle, hoping to have a baby this time ;)

Super Spicy Shrimp
I sent this image directed from the phone, not bad! Anyways, I think I made this dish really, really spicy! This could be rolled in flour and deep fried to make Cajun Popcorn.
1/2 kilo large shrimps, peeled and deveined
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
olive oil for frying
In a bowl, combine all the seasonings, marinate the shrimp for about 10 minutes. In a pan, heat oil and saute the shrimp until cooked. Serve as appetizer or sidedish.

Spicy Shrimp Wonton Dumplings
Wanton, Wantan, Wonton, or Húntún (餛飩) is a type of dumpling usually boiled or added in a soup. I steamed, and the wrapper is kind of chewy, I like it!
Spicy Wonton Dumplings should be minced meat (specifically pork). In Taiwan, whenever I order seafood or chicken, still little pork is added. I asked, they said the stuffing will not be juicy if pork is not added. I tried shrimp, I think it's OK!
Ingredients:
12 pieces wonton wrapper
150g shrimp, chopped
2 stalk scallion, chopped
For Seasoning:
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper powder
2 tablespoon water
For the Sauce/Dipping
1 tablespoon chili oil
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of sweet soysauce
1 teaspoon of vinegar (l used lemon)
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of sweet soysauce
1 teaspoon of vinegar (l used lemon)
For the stuffing, combine shrimp, salt, sesame oil, pepper, and water. Mix well until sticky form. Put stuffing in the middle of won ton wrapper. Fold the four corner sides together, press lightly in the middle. Steam in a steamer for about 10 minutes, or until the wrapper becomes transparent. Serve with sauce and sprinkle scallion and chili pepper (optional) on top.
