When I'm making this Banana Chocolate Chips Cookies, I'm not even sure if it will be successful. I didn't put much sugar and butter. Well, it turned out just fine, just like eating a piece of banana bread, soft and chewy. Next time, I'll add some walnuts.
2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 brown sugar (or more)
1/2 cup butter (or 2/3)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 mashed bananas
1 cup chocolate chips (I used bitter sweet)
Preheat the oven to 190 ̊C(375 ̊F). Line parchment in a baking sheet.
In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, place the butter and sugar and beat together until light and fluffy, then beat in the eggs, bananas, and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients to the batter and continue mixing until incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Scoop a spoonful of the mixture and place on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, then transfer the cookies to wire rocks for cool completely.
This is how it looks like...
I found a heart for my Guest Heart Thursday entry :)
