Simple Garlic Spinach

I don't actually greens when I was a kid  that's why I was anemic during my high school days. I  don't like the smell and the bitter taste. But I love watching Popeye specially when he's about to eat the spinach. Now that I'm learning to cook, taste and smell can be improved even in a simple way :)

Just chopped some garlic, cook it in olive oil until transparent.

Add the spinach (I used two bunches), add salt and pepper. Cover.

After few minutes, here's how it looks like (no need to add water).

Serve and enjoy :)

  10. Spinach has always been my alternatives whenever I cook something that in need to green leafy veggies since Camote Tops and Water Spinach is not available ehre all the time. I love using it in Chicken Tinola while my boys love it in Salad.
